Elementary Training

The Enrollment Process

2) Complete Application

3) Pay the Application Fee (Fee is non-refundable.)

4) You will be contacted by TMI to schedule a personal interview

 

Apply for 2024/26 Elementary Course

 

Your application submission must be complete and submitted by July 31, 2024 and will include:

• Completed application form submitted via Populi

 • Statement of intent

• Resume

• Three professional or academic references

•Medical form

• Official transcripts from all colleges, universities or Montessori training centers attended

• A non-refundable application fee of $100 must accompany the application when submitted before July 1. After July 1, the application fee is $150. Once TMI receives your completed application, we will schedule a personal interview with you.

Elementary Tuition Fees and Schedule

Tuition including deposit  | $15,900

Fees (MACTE, AMI Membership, Exam Fee)  | $798

 

APPLICATION FEE | $100 (DUE WITH APPLICATION)

When paid before June 15, 2024. Please note this fee is non-refundable.

APPLICATION FEE | $150 (DUE WITH APPLICATION)

When paid after June 15, 2023. Please note this fee is non-refundable.

 
 

DEPOSIT  |  $525  (DUE UPON ACCEPTANCE)

The deposit is refundable until August 15, 2024, should the student choose to withdraw from the course. The deposit is applied to your total tuition.

First Academic Year Tuition and fees  |  $7,987 (Due by September 1, 2024)

The tuition for the first academic year and summer session is $7,688 plus the MACTE fee of $200 and AMI membership fee of $99.

second Academic Year Tuition and fees  |  $8,186 (Due by September 1, 2025)

The tuition for the second academic year and summer session is $7,687 plus the exam fee of $400 and AMI membership fee of $99.

TUITION OPTION  |  20 month PAYMENT PLAN

As a way of making the training more accessible, TMI offers the option to spread the tuition and fees costs (after the deposit) over twenty monthly payments of $840.99. The first payment would be due September 1, 2024 and the final payment due April 1, 2026. Please note this payment plan includes a 4% administration fee. * It is recommended to budget approximately $700 for supplies and books.

 

Admission requirements: 

TMI actively seeks students of diverse backgrounds and interests. The applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree; exceptions may be made under special circumstances. The applicant must demonstrate suitability for training – maturity, integrity, creativity, intelligence, and an aptitude for psychological insight and understanding.
