St. Vrain Community Montessori School seeks an Upper Elementary Guide for the 2025-26 School Year.

St. Vrain Community Montessori School is a fifteen-year-old PK-8 charter school offering a high-fidelity Montessori education in a public, charter school environment.  Currently, we serve over 260 students in 9 classrooms.  We are the only public Montessori school in the St. Vrain Valley School District.  Our school embraces the Montessori values of respect for self, others and the environment.  We seek to attract faculty and staff who share these values and model them for our students and our community.

Our school is located in Longmont, CO.  Within northern Boulder County, Longmont has over 300 days of sunshine and spectacular views of the Rocky Mountains. Longmont is perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, located 37 miles from Denver and 16 miles from Boulder.

Qualifications

Candidate Educational Requirements
-Must be at least 18 years of age
-High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred

Required Skills, Experience, and Qualities
-1+ year experience in a Montessori classroom (internship and other relevant
experience considered to meet criteria)
-a true desire for collaboration with peers
-a commitment to open, honest communication in the spirit of continuous improvement
-a commitment to spiritual preparation of the adult

Please click here for 2024-25 salary schedule. Benefits include: the option to elect medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, FSA, and employer contribution of 20.4% (current mandated rate) to PERA (Public Employees Retirement Association).
